The
Robert J. Reby Foundation is a non-profit, charitable grant-giving organization that recognizes and rewards outstanding students for personal acheivement and scholastic excellence, assisting them in pursuing their future endeavors. Robert & Mary Reby created the R. J. Reby Foundation as a way to give back to the communities where they grew up, live, and work and the scholarships awarded are a part of that commitment. The mission of the Foundation is to support education and life-long learning and to reward personal excellence and enterprise.
Each scholarship is awarded to a student who demonstrates high standards of character, community involvement, academic achievements, participation in athletics and extra curricular activities, and who have also earned money towards a college education. Says Reby, "The Foundation looks for the "well-rounded student"; youngsters who are as fully committed to the world around them as they are to their academic studies."
Since its inception in 1997, the R. J. Reby Foundation, Inc. has provided scholarship awards to deserving students to help with their college expenses and the Foundation has reached a milestone of $50,000 awarded in scholarship funds.
The Foundation's Corporate Scholarship Program was later created to assist employees of local companies and their dependents. Says Reby, "The companies enrolled in our program are important to the continual economic growth of the region...by assisting their employees and encouraging their children...we're investing in the future of this community."
